Big Time Rush is an American pop boy band formed in 2009. The group consists of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow along with Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. In 2009, they signed with Nick Records before moving to Columbia Records. The group was on Nickelodeon's TV show Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28th, 2009 to July 25 the 25th of July, 2013. The pilot episode showcased the group's debut single as a promo, "Big Time Rush". The group released three studio albums, BTR in 2010, Elevate 2011 , and 24/Seven 2013. The band in 2014 was on a hiatus that would last until 2021.
